The hotel is the result of a thoughtful conversion of the mid-20th-century original bank building constructed by by engineers Cesare Pascoletti and architect Marcello Piacentini. Retaining it’s architectural character (courtyards, statues, original lamps) while injecting the modern luxury aesthetic of the EDITION brand, guests will find “understated elegance” rather than flamboyance, blending Italian craftsmanship and contemporary style.

Featuring 74 guest rooms and 17 spacious suites, each room has been designed with sophisticated simplicity: walnut wood herringbone flooring, custom-designed furniture, muted colour palettes and expansive windows that frame views over Rome’s rooftops. Bathrooms feature Carrara marble basins, brushed-brass fixtures and luxury amenities from the Le Labo line.
